Our Buyer Protection Policy is designed to give you peace of mind in knowing you'll receive the exact container you purchased. Monthly rent paid on Rental or Rent-to-Own containers are not-prorated and non-refundable. For order cancelations, the delivery fee may be refundable when the container(s) have not been repositioned or delivered.
Rental Customers: After the 3 month minimum term, you can contact us at any time to schedule a return pickup of your rental shipping container.
RTO Customers: At any time, you can contact us to schedule a return pickup of your shipping container to pause or stop your monthly payments. When you're ready, you can reinstate your agreement to get the same or a comparable container, and pick up your RTO payments right where you left off. The only cost you will pay is the return shipping.

It is possible to cancel an order, but the amount of refund depends on the stage. You can cancel an order at any time before sending funds for no cost. If you've paid but we haven't processed your order yet, you will receive a refund of 100%, less applicable non-refundable 3rd party charged payment processing fees. If we have processed your order and your container has been allocated, secured, prepared, modified, surveyed, moved at the port or depot, or has been released or shipped via truck or ship to you, you can still cancel your order, but you'll be subject to a 10% restocking fee plus reimbursing the full costs of any applicable fees related to shipping, trucking, rail, surveying, forklift, depot, port and payment processing fees. Please note, special order purchase deposits are non-refundable due to 3rd party logistical costs we incur when repositioning equipment. Once your container arrives at your location, you will have a chance to perform a complete inspection before you accept delivery. We suggest that you read our FAQ page on how to prepare and handle the delivery process. Remember, all containers will have rusting and exterior denting, this is entirely normal. If, however, your container is damaged in a way not disclosed to you during the purchase process, contact us immediately at +1 503-SHIPPED. These types of situations are very rare but we will help to make it right.
No, once the container is delivered, you've performed your physical inspection and have signed for delivery, then it's your container to do with what you wish. So, it's important you perform a thorough inspection on the container during delivery. For example, a week after delivery, you can't return it and ask for a refund because you decided you don't like the color. In addition, if the area you've prepped for delivery doesn't support the weight of the container, and it get's damaged because of this, you are not covered. We also don’t cover used container rust, repaired sections or roof pits as these are all normal wear and tear on used items. If your container doors are difficult to operate it may relate to the slope of your delivery site and cause the doors to rub. Re-leveling the ground may help along with spraying penetrating lubricant in the hinges, locking bars and cams.
